With weekly (and often twice-weekly) dedicated consolidation services, receiving depots throughout Britain and Ireland along with bonding packing and storage facilities, the Alliance sea freight services are unbeatable and are often used as the benchmark for our competition as well as our extensive direct-shipper account base.
General Forwarding
Complementing the Alliance Global Groupage services is the General Forwarding Division of the Group.
This division specialises in out-of-gauge and general forwarding traffic particularly in relation to those markets having little or no ability to accept containerised cargoes or those traffics falling outside of the scope of LCL and groupage cargo, particularly in the context of project and extra large non-container profiled movements.
Apart from providing highly competitive freight rates and an excellent standard of customer service this division is proud to offer the following facilities to its clients:
- F.A.K. rates for volume traffics and special fixed rates for total Alliance utilisation.
- Letter of credit presentation and full documentary issuance services (see ASL-FLO© section).
- Full Consular and legalisation (C. of O. blacklist certificate and invoice preparation and authentication) facility.
- Full Lloyds of London freight insurance facilities plus NCM credit management.
- Dedicated in-house account executive specifically nominated to deal with your valuable business on a one-on-one basis.
- Full communications package via the Internet and E-mail complemented by our own dedicated motor cycle couriers.
- Regular updates on sea freight rate movements especially with full or part charters.
- T.V.A.’s (time/volume agreements) for long term projects.
