E-Cert/A-Cert

Exporters and Freight Forwarders can now apply for European Certificates of Origin online through the application of e-Cert.

There is also a database for company details and applications can now be made for Arab-British Certificates of Origin (a-Cert) and invoices.

Certificates of Origin are essential for exporting companies to comply with customs requirements in the importing state, as well as meeting banking and other commercial criteria.

Procedure

• Access the E-Cert Version 2 website and register your company
• Upload a scanned signature to the site*
• Create some database files
• Complete your Certificate of Origin and/or Invoice.
• The Certificate is ready for collection or posting or submission to the Arab Chamber.
