ITOPS Training
This section contains
questions and simulations in order to assist candidates in securing the I.T.O.P.S.
qualification. Answers are not given! Typical sets of questions are shown herein in
order for delegates to work through their course to achieve the I.T.O.P.S.
accreditation. At the foot of the sample sets of questions there is a section
constructed to assist candidates that are perhaps having difficulty with these
"mock" questions.
The chief training
officer for I.T.O.P.S., have always promulgated the dictum that inasmuch as the
principles of the industry can indeed be learned from text books and in the
classroom, real learning comes from practical "hands on" experience and through
establishing close working relationships with industry
professionals.
Herein lies the strength
of the I.T.O.P.S award as it underscores this belief through practical study
sessions, relevant exercises, case histories, simulations and, in harness with our
trade partners Alliance, field trips to ports and airports which
greatly enhance their overview of the logistics aspects of this industry. Most
importantly, course delegates have the opportunity of drawing on the vast resources
and experience of the Alliance team of intermodal professionals to help them should
they need ongoing support. This support is not solely confined to securing the
I.T.O.P.S qualification, but is an open ended facility, offering professional
assistance beyond the I.T.O.P.S training course, in the day to day rigours of the
export and import business I.T.O.P.S students handle both now and into the
future.
The facility we are proud
to offer herein enables students in the theoretical mode the great benefit of
relying on our resources to assist them in their training course, and has
established in most cases a commercial bond between us, as freight forwarders, and
those students who are training in the export shipping management field. We are
delighted that many hundreds of students that have worked through the I.T.O.P.S.
system have maintained their course contact with the Alliance Group beyond the
acquisition of the I.T.O.P.S. qualification.
In the following,
students will find the basis of the majority of pertinent questions they will
encounter on a day to day basis when working in the export manufacturing industry.
These questions form the back-bone of the I.T.O.P.S. courses with the timely and
accurate answers to the same being of great benefit to those candidates upon
graduation.
